Frederik and Martha’s marriage has fallen apart after an endless feud. To keep up appearances for their family and their son on a study exchange, they continue living together in their country house. As lawyers work behind the scenes, their relationship deteriorates, and Martha’s mental state declines. As Frederik prepares to deliver the final blow, the question remains: will their son return in time to prevent the worst?
